This is a great blog, especially since I’m in the middle of planning my wedding. Shopping for the wedding dress is a ways off yet but I’ll keep these tips in mind.

I know what you mean. I’m pretty different from when I was in high school. I feel like I have more self confidence. I no longer live to rebel against my parents. It’s strange how things change but they do. If things didn’t change, it would be just wrong.

Is it getting close to time for him to start considering schools? Good luck! Wherever he decides to go he’s already got an advantage over some other kids: a parent that really cares. I may not have showed the most gratitude to my parents when I was a teenager but now I am so thankful for everything they did for me!

Good advice! I had a great time in college, and wouldn’t change it. However, I lucked out by going to a local university. I want my child to consider more options when it’s time for him to go.
